Osun 2026: ChatGPT Validates Candidate to Win Governorship Election (See Predicted Winner)
Governor Ademola Adeleke is likely to emerge as the leading candidate in the ongoing Osun State governorship election as the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) continues the collation and uploading of results from across the state.
The incumbent governor, who is seeking re-election on the platform of the Accord Party, is currently ahead of his closest challenger, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Bola Oyebamiji, based on results released so far. Reports indicate that Adeleke pulled further ahead after results from 24 of the state’s 30 local government areas were uploaded.
As of Saturday night, INEC had uploaded 3,292 polling-unit results out of the 3,763 expected results, representing 87.48 per cent of the results on its IReV portal. Collation was still ongoing across the state.
The developing figures have strengthened Adeleke’s position in the race, with the governor recording notable victories in several polling units. Accord also defeated the APC at the polling unit of former APC National Secretary, Senator Iyiola Omisore, where it secured 131 votes against the APC’s 85.
The APC’s Oyebamiji, however, has also recorded victories in some areas and remains Adeleke’s major challenger. Earlier results from hundreds of polling units showed the APC candidate taking an early lead before subsequent results shifted the advantage towards Adeleke.
With the margin between the two leading candidates still subject to the outstanding results, the final outcome cannot yet be declared. However, based on the results available so far, Adeleke appears to have the stronger path to victory.
The African Democratic Congress (ADC) candidate, Najeem Salaam, is also in the race but remains behind the two leading contenders in the emerging results.
INEC is expected to continue the collation until all outstanding results are accounted for and the Returning Officer makes the official declaration.

The prediction is not an official election result, and the winner will only be determined by INEC’s final declaration.
