APC Breaks Silence over Fubara’s Screening Report

BREAKING: Rivers Assembly Finally Takes Action on Fubara's Impeachment

The National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Ajibola Bashiru, has clarified that the party has not yet released any official report from its screening committee concerning the appearance of Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara.

His statement comes amid public speculation and media reports suggesting uncertainty about whether Fubara was screened or what transpired during the process.

Bashiru explained that appearing before the APC screening committee is simply part of the party’s internal procedure for evaluating political figures and aspirants.

He stressed that the process is still ongoing and that no conclusions should be drawn at this stage.

According to him, the screening committee is still meeting all individuals it is expected to see, and only after completing its assignments will it compile and present a formal report to the party leadership.

Bashiru further emphasized that, as of now, there is no official screening outcome or report available, urging the public and media to avoid speculation.

He made it clear that any claims about final decisions or results are premature.
