APC Gov Names Successor Ahead 2027 Election

Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State has officially announced Senator Aliyu Wadada as his chosen candidate for the governorship position representing the All Progressives Congress (APC).

This declaration was made during a meeting with political appointees held at the Nasarawa State Government House.

The announcement comes as the state gears up for the upcoming 2027 general elections.

Notably, Senator Wadada, who currently serves as the representative for Nasarawa West in the 10th Senate, recently transitioned from the Social Democratic Party (SDP) to the APC in pursuit of his governorship aspirations.
