Tragedy as Ex-Southampton Nigerian Star Passes Away

Victor Akaniyene Udoh, a 21-year-old Nigerian forward, has tragically passed away.

Udoh, who recently transitioned from English Championship club Southampton to Czech second-division team SK Dynamo Ceske Budejovice, was found deceased in Abuja.

According to reports, he was out with friends the previous night and was discovered lifeless the following morning.

There are indications that food or drink poisoning may be involved, though this has yet to be officially verified.

Udoh previously played for Royal Antwerp and was a member of the Southampton U21 team.

The 21-year-old winger was in Nigeria on holiday at the time of the incident.
