President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed a new board for the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund), a vital institution responsible for supporting Nigeria’s tertiary education sector.

The new board, announced in a statement by Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, is chaired by Alhaji Aminu Masari, with Senator Sani Danladi, Mr. Sunday Adepoju, Mr. Nurudeen Adeyemi, Mrs. Esther Onyinyechukwu Ukachukwu, Mr. Turaki Ibrahim, and Mr. Aboh Eduyok as members.

According to the statement, the President expects the new board to be dedicated and committed to driving TETFund’s objective of enhancing the productivity and quality of higher education in Nigeria.

“President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of the following qualified Nigerians to serve on the board of the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund):

“Alhaji Aminu Masari, Chairman; Senator Sani Danladi, member; Mr. Sunday Adepoju, member; Mr. Nurudeen Adeyemi, member; Mrs. Esther Onyinyechukwu Ukachukwu, member; Mr. Turaki Ibrahim, member; and Mr. Aboh Eduyok, member.

“The President expects the new members of the board of this pivotal institutional vehicle to be dedicated and committed to driving TETFund’s objective of providing the needed support for tertiary education with a view to enhancing the productivity and quality of higher education,” the statement said.
