V/M/S/E ASO JAMES: A magnanimous Celestial Shepherd

The word magnanimous can be regarded as brave, high-spirited; courageous, and heroic. These words describe Aso James, a popular Celestial Church of Christ shepherd who understands the doctrines and principles of the church. One of the few shepherds who had opportunities to witness and practice the wonders of the Celestial founder, the late S.B.J Oshoffa.

Probably because of his no-nonsense posture, he is often misunderstood. He may not be a fan of many, but he has traffic of followers at home and abroad. His level of spirituality has distinguished him as a force to be reckoned with in the Celestial fold.

His style and manner of preaching may be too complex for the unbelievers to absorb at times; he comes down heavily on immorality within and outside the church. A boastful Aso James believes so much in the foundation of Oshoffa (Of blessed memory) and has built so much more on the foundation of Celestial Church such that many of his peers could comprehend.

Not everybody wants James Aso as Shepherd because he would not compromise the tents of the bible and compromise the doctrine of the Celestial Church.

He’s always ready to step on toes when it comes to immorality and indecency in the church. The youths believe so much in the principles of Aso, not only because he’s a true apostle of God but also a philanthropist. In his few quotes some time ago, he said: “Never at any point use your transportation fee to seek for miracles in Church, Celestial is not like that, the God we serve in Celestial doesn’t ask you to stake your last card.”

Any time he preaches, Aso always emphasizes that serving God and worshipping Him wholeheartedly would bring lots of comfort to those that believe in Him. “You can’t deceive God, I will not stand on this pulpit and be deceiving you, I don’t care if you don’t like me. I am an apostle of God, and my position in this church is to win souls. I will not refuse to tell you the truth just for you to like me or give me money. You can’t buy God.”

His impact as a true apostle of God is well-written in the historical book of the churches. Wherever he goes, his impact is felt. Among them are the popular CCC Ikeja II, Majemu Parish, Araromi Parish, and the biggest Celestial church in Lagos State DMC Parish Ajah. Despite being a bonafide shepherd of the Celestial Church of Christ under the leadership of Pastor Worldwide Rev Mobiyina Oshoffa, James Aso has laid down Celestial altars to build existing churches under the umbrella of C.C.C.

His knowledge of the words of God and the doctrine of the church has given him an edge over others. This has made him expand the wings of Celestial churches in communities and towns in Lagos State and beyond. He’s the founder of C.C.C Liberation Parish in Lagos State.

He’s getting rewards for impacting people’s lives morally and spiritually. Aso is a friend of quite big men in the country, captains of industry. First-class kings in Southwest, Southsouth that honors the Celestial church through the impacts of Aso whose favorite song is: “Jesus na bigi man, who know no dey call am small boy, Jesus na bigi man…” He’s always endowed and happy when the choristers flair him up with his preaching.

One of the gifts Aso is the gift of the Holy Spirit, he always welcomes the spirit of God to prevail on every matter.

As a lovely preacher, churches, members, men, women, and Sunday school children always want Aso on the pulpit to speak. No matter the level of your ranks, Aso takes his preaching through the Holy Spirit and allows you to bow down for the truth.

His level of discipline has made many members tag him as ‘ASO ROCK’. This shepherd would never bend to the forces of darkness, immorality, corruption, and everything that will tarnish the image of the Celestial Church.

The recent controversial issue concerning the death of a labourer in his church, CCC Overcomers Parish, Ajah, where he was battered and the church was destroyed completely by hoodlums would not be the end of the man with a clean heart. A brave-less Shepherd could have run away and allowed the lies and conspiracy circulating on the internet to be accepted to tarnish the image of the church. Aso stood firm to witness the brutality.

In efforts to dent the image of the shepherd and the body of the Celestial church, various bloggers took advantage of the scenario to misinform the general public that the Hausa man who died inside the soakaway accidentally, was used for rituals by the church.

Interestingly, the Celestial Church of Christ (worldwide) threw its weight behind the popular shepherd and insisted on investigating the matter even till court levels. The Celestial Church of Christ has a case to pursue in the course of jungle justice, looting, vandalization of church properties worth over N500 million, and charging of online bloggers with misinformation to court.

In the heat of the crisis, this media guru, the Secretary of the Pastor in Council CCC Worldwide and Head of the Media and Publicity Unit, Superior Evangelist Kayode Ajala was the best respondent; he led the mainstream media to the light of the matter and has used his professionalism to handle the critical issue in the interest of the Church, especially at this moment. At the Langbasa police station, Superior Evangelist Kayode Ajala addressed the general public with CCC Pastor Worldwide interested in unveiling the truth to the world.

Bloggers are only trying to generate income from social media firms due to the traffic the story was generating. It is unfortunate that all these allegations are nothing but false.

Unfortunately, nobody is talking about the relationship between the Hausa man and Aso before his death, no one is asking why the Hausa man called ‘Dongo’ came in the middle of midnight. Was there an agreement between the church and the man to do the job at that time? Now, jungle justice has been done beyond a limit.

The church Secretary was injured, also not to forget that it was not only the Hausa man that fell into the soakaway, assistant shepherd to Aso James was also rescued from the soakaway but alive in critical condition at a Lagos hospital.

Shepherd Aso confirmed to your faithful that he was never aware that Dongo was coming during the New Moon Service, soakaway was contracted to Dongo three days before that incident happened.

Shepherd Aso spoke in his usual tongue to your faithful from the hospital to dowse the tension: “I have never engaged in such rubbish people are saying, I am an apostle of God and I will remain one for life. This is a tribulation not only for me but for the body of the church which I believe by the name of God Almighty and Papa Oshoffa, we shall overcome it.”
Aso won’t perish in this storm, he’s a magnanimous shepherd.
