INFANTINO IN TROUBLE? Wenger Emerges in FIFA Presidency Speculation

Published

According to The Guardian, former Arsenal manager Arsène Wenger has been encouraged to consider running against Gianni Infantino for the presidency of FIFA.

Currently, Wenger serves as FIFA’s Chief of Global Football Development.

Amid growing dissent regarding Infantino’s management of the organization, Wenger has surfaced as a potential challenger for the position.

However, he has not yet confirmed whether he intends to enter the race.

After departing from Arsenal in 2018, Wenger chose not to pursue a continued coaching career and instead took up his role with FIFA.
