No ADC, NDC as INEC Releases Final List of Candidates for Bye-Elections

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has published the final list of candidates for the bye-elections scheduled to hold on June 20, 2026, across six states of the federation. The elections are aimed at filling vacant seats in the Senate, House of Representatives, and State House of Assembly.

The June 20 polls will fill legislative vacancies in Ondo, Nasarawa, Rivers, Enugu, Kebbi, and Kano States following deaths, appointments, and other developments that created vacant seats in the affected constituencies. INEC has assured stakeholders of its readiness to conduct credible elections across all designated polling areas.
