Heavy traffic congestion was reported along the Nyanya–Keffi Expressway in Abuja, a situation that arose following the recent damage to the Kugbo Bus Terminal.

This terminal, which was inaugurated by Nyesom Wike, the Minister of Federal Capital Territory (FCT), in June, has yet to be utilized for passenger services.

The incident occurred when strong winds caused the terminal’s roof to collapse, resulting in debris scattering across the busy roadway.

This obstruction further exacerbated the already chaotic traffic conditions, particularly as the evening rush hour approached and many workers were making their way home.

The combination of the damaged terminal and the influx of commuters contributed to a significant delay, highlighting the ongoing challenges in managing urban infrastructure and traffic flow in the area.
