2027 Elections: CCC Prophet Urges Prayers for Nigeria, Tinubu, Oshoffa

As Nigeria prepares for the 2027 general election, Prophet James Aso, a prominent Shepherd from the Celestial Church of Christ in Lagos, has called upon citizens to engage in prayer for the nation.

He emphasized the importance of seeking divine intervention in light of potential tragedies that could lead to public chaos and allow for external influences to infiltrate the country.

During a series of prayer sessions held over three Sundays, Prophet Aso urged prayers for key political figures, including President Bola Tinubu, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, and Celestial Church leaders.

He expressed concerns over external pressures facing Nigeria and the need for unity among citizens in rejecting such influences.

In his message, Prophet Aso acknowledged the challenges facing President Tinubu’s administration, encouraging the public to support their leaders through prayer.

He stated, “President Tinubu is not a perfect man, but we need to pray for him as the leader of this country. Our leaders have failed us, but prayer is our means to communicate with God and seek His guidance.”

He also requested prayers for the pastor’s leadership and asked that God grant mercy, guidance, and health to President Tinubu as he navigates the nation’s challenges.

Prophet Aso highlighted the importance of ongoing prayers in 2026, leading up to the election year, emphasizing that prayer is essential for securing good governance and overcoming adversity.

As he clarified his role, he noted that he does not predict election outcomes and is not involved in political matters, but rather seeks to promote spiritual well-being through prayer and faith in God.

As 2027 approaches, he reminded followers to remain vigilant and dedicated to prayer in support of Nigeria and its leaders.

The congregation is encouraged by Aso to pray for the leadership of the Celestial Church of Christ, specifically for Pastor Mobiyina Emmanuel Oshoffa.

The prayers aim to support him in his efforts to elevate the church on a global scale and to request that he be granted the spiritual strength needed to continue his mission, as well as a long and healthy life.
