'At 33, no husband' - Otedola's daughter, DJ Cuppy laments single life

Florence Otedola, commonly known as DJ Cuppy, has expressed her concerns about her single status at the age of 33, despite her significant achievements in both her career and academic pursuits.

DJ Cuppy, an acclaimed disc jockey and daughter of Nigerian billionaire Femi Otedola, took to her social media platforms to articulate her challenges in finding a suitable partner at this stage of her life. She noted that many of the suitors who have shown interest in her have exhibited spelling difficulties.

In her remarks, she highlighted that her primary concern lies not only in the suitors’ spelling challenges but also in her past difficulties with spelling, despite her attendance at Oxford University.

According to the News Agency of Nigeria, DJ Cuppy stated, “Achieving success in my career is significant; however, I find myself as a mother of Dúdú and FünFün, yet without a husband, as numerous suitors in my direct messages struggle even to spell ‘Pomeranian.'”

Furthermore, DJ Cuppy revealed that she frequently reminds God of her single status whenever she comes across wedding photographs of others online. The prominent disc jockey has been candid about her aspirations for marriage, particularly following the termination of her engagement to British boxer Ryan Taylor in 2023.

In addition to her reflections, DJ Cuppy was recently appointed as a 2025 Goalkeeper by the Gates Foundation, recognizing her philanthropic efforts and contributions to society.
