Drama as man runs away from hospital after his wife gave birth to triplets

A Nigerian man has reportedly gone missing following the birth of three baby boys to his wife.
According to the information provided, the man fled the scene after medical personnel, including midwives and nurses at the hospital, informed him of the arrival of the infants.
His absence threw the hospital into confusion as people were looking for him after his wife and three babies became stranded.
The incident happened in Igbokoda, Ilaje local government area of Ondo state.
Daily Trust reports that the man, identified as Bayo Jeje, is a bricklayer and that he was murmuring about his poor financial status before finally disappearing into thin air.
His wife, Iyanu Ehuwa Jeje, was first taken to Igbokoda Health Centre, but she did not receive medical care due to the absence of a doctor.
Mrs Jeje’s ordeal reportedly started at around 5 am at Igbokoda Health Centre, where no doctor was on duty, and she experienced a prolonged delay in accessing medical care.
She was then taken to Aribo Hospital in Ilaje where she delivered the three babies.
The development happened on Tuesday, April 1 and health workers at the facility quickly raised the alarm after failing to see the father of the babies.
A source told Daily Trust:
“It was after her condition worsened that she was rushed to Aribo Hospital, where she delivered the triplets. But instead of celebrating the joyous occasion; her husband, who had been murmuring about his financial state and situation fled, abandoning her wife with no financial support to care for the babies.”
The new mother and her babies are said to be stranded at the Aribo Hospital in Ilaje but the husband is nowhere to be found.
However, help may be coming her way as Senator Jimoh Ibrahim, representing Ondo South Senatorial District at the National Assembly, has intervened.
He is said to have instructed one of his aides, Juwon Ade-Aworetan Juwon, the coordinator of Ondo South Advancement and Welfare Consultative Association (OSAWA) to provide Mrs Jeje with immediate assistance.
