Nigeria at 64: Hon. Ajuloopin urges unity, hope, progress; calls support for Tinubu 

As Nigeria marks its 64th Independence anniversary, the member representing Ekiti, Isin, Irepodun and Oke-Ero federal constituency of Kwara, Rt. Hon.Tunji Olawuyi Ajuloopin has felicitated Nigerians and described the occasion as a significant milestone in our nation’s history.

In a statement on his Facebook post, he said:

“We celebrate our resilience, diversity, and collective progress. Today, we honour the sacrifices of our founding fathers and the struggles of our past leaders who fought tirelessly for our independence.

“As we reflect on our journey, we acknowledge the challenges we face and reaffirm our commitment to building a stronger, more prosperous Nigeria. We recognise the efforts of our current leaders and urge continued collaboration towards a brighter future.

“I urge all Nigerians to unite in our quest for national growth, peace, and development. Let us harness our potential, leverage our diversity, and work together towards a Nigeria where every citizen can thrive.

“On behalf of the people of Ekiti, Isin, Irepodun, and Oke-Ero Federal Constituency, I warmly felicitate with all Nigerians on this momentous occasion” Ajuloopin said.

He said we are at a critical juncture in our nation’s history, and it’s imperative that we come together to support the bold initiatives of our leaders.

Ajuloopin called for understanding and support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s economic recovery strategies and asked Nigerians to unite in support of these efforts.

“Let us work together to build a brighter future, where every citizen can live with dignity and prosperity. As President Bola Ahmed Tinubu emphasised, “We must choose hope over fear, unity over division, and progress over stagnation.”

The federal lawmaker also acknowledged Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq administration’s significant strides in education, healthcare, and infrastructure development, adding that these feats have earned him recognition as a leader dedicated to the people.
