I want a man who will give me N20m when I ask for N1m – Yvonne Jegede

Actress Yvonne Jegede has shared the ideal partner preferences on ‘The Honest Bunch’ podcast, offering a glimpse into her desires and expectations in a relationship.

She said she seeks a man with a good heart, empathy, and a willingness to support her financially without questioning her needs.

Jegede emphasised that a man with empathy would understand her requests and even exceed her expectations, granting her more than she asks for.

“I’m looking for someone with a good mind. Because if you get good mind, you get empathy, if I say ‘Baby please, give me N1 million’, you fit give me N20 million,” she said in pidgin.

In contrast, Jegede noted that a man without empathy would ask unnecessary questions.

She concluded: “But if you no get empathy, you go ask me first of all, say, ‘It is your father’s money?”

This revelation comes after Jegede’s previous marriage to actor Olakunle ‘Abounce’ Fawole ended in 2019, just a year after they got married.

She claimed she was the primary breadwinner in the relationship before it crashed.
