Foundations mark ‘Coach Tony’ 50th birthday with community game

TMCO and JEO Castle Charity Foundations in collaboration with Nigeria coach, Oladayo Anthony Ushurhe holds maiden community game to celebrate his 50th birthday in grand style.
The match between Coach Tony versus FKJ All-Star, which, holds Saturday at the African School Football field, Ifako Ijaiye Lagos, is geared towards the creation of awareness in the community.
Expected at this year’s edition of the charity match are ex-Super Eagles players, high-profile personalities, and captains of the football industry to support the celebration of the U.S-based Nigerian coach, who has been dubbed Nigerian Jose Mourinho.
Speaking ahead of the match, coach Tony said: I feel happy and great because it’s part of my life to help people, especially the less privileged. This is why I became part of these two charity organizations that have come together to help the less privilege and the young ones through various tools,” said Coach Tony.
“Football has been a useful tool in the world to promote peace, unity and love among countries, and it also proved to be an effective tool for people in the communities to encourage the young ones who dream of playing football to the highest level.
The tournament and charity game will also give young players an opportunity to establish their talents for the invited guests, scouts and government agencies.
The tournament and charity game comprises of two teams; Coach Tony & friends vs FKJ All Star. Each of the teams had a set of jerseys as participants from TMO Charity Foundation and JEO castle Charity Foundation, whilst players who exhibited enormous performance get exclusive brand gifts the foundations
Ushurhe has coached three clubs so far; Avalanche FC Div 3, Arsenal FC DIV 1, and presently in charge of Colton High FC, California.
Coach Tony hit the limelight in Lagos, while handling Messiah FC, winning in four years notable Lagos state organize league and tournaments, like; Ikeja League, Eko League and the maiden edition of Extra Joss Tournament.
