He’s a monster – Declan Rice

Arsenal midfielder, Declan Rice, has described Manchester City’s Rodri as a “monster.”

Both players were widely regarded as the best defensive midfielders in the world and will go head-to-head in the Premier League on Sunday.

Rice has hailed Rodri as the difference maker in the City squad.

“He is a monster!

“When you speak to the City lads in England, they say when Rodri doesn’t play they feel the difference themselves.

“Visibly, you can see that, too,” Rice told the UK Telegraph.

Rice could have been playing alongside Rodri at the Etihad, but chose to join Arsenal last summer.
