Presidency Confirms New Minimum Wage for Workers

According to Naija News, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has articulated his defence of President Bola Tinubu in response to assertions that the President has not undertaken sufficient measures to address Nigeria’s escalating insecurity issues.

During the US-Nigeria Faith Heroes Award Gala, organized by the Save Nigeria Group in Washington on June 23, Adeboye stated that the President has fulfilled his responsibilities by issuing directives to the military and security agencies.

He further clarified that it is not incumbent upon the Commander-in-Chief to personally participate in military operations on the battlefield.

Naija News reports that, to illustrate his point, Adeboye likened Tinubu’s role to that of global leaders who issue military commands while delegating the execution to security agencies.
