‘Budget padding’: Akpabio bows to pressure, says Ningi will rejoin

Godswill Akpabio, senate president, has hinted that the upper legislative chamber may consider lifting the suspension on Abdul Ningi, senator representing Bauchi central.
Akpabio spoke on Friday upon his return to Abuja from the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) general assembly in Geneva, Switzerland.
Early this month, Ningi sparked controversy when he alleged that the 2024 budget was padded by N3 trillion and that the country is operating two budgets concurrently.

Subsequently, the senate debated the matter at the “committee of the whole”.
The senator was thereafter suspended for three months for allegedly not providing evidence to back his allegations.
In a letter dated March 27 and addressed to Akpabio through Femi Falana, his counsel, Ningi gave the senate president a seven-day ultimatum to lift his suspension from the upper legislative chamber.
Ningi described his suspension as “illegal”, saying he would approach a federal high court for his reinstatement if the suspension is not lifted within seven days.
“Apart from violating our client’s fundamental right to a fair hearing, the Senate violated the right of the entire people of the Bauchi Central Senatorial District to representation in the Senate for three months,” the letter reads.
“This is a breach of section 111 of the Constitution and article 13 of the African Charter on Human and Peoples Rights Act.
“As you are no doubt aware, the Federal High Court had struck down the suspension of some members of the Senate and the House of Representatives who had accused the leadership of both houses of corruption or abuse of office.”
Speaking on Friday, Akpabio said although he was yet to receive the letter, he believes that Ningi will rejoin the senate in a few days.
“It is a parliamentary decision. I have not seen the letter yet,” Akpabio said.
“But senator Ningi is one of us. I mean what is suspension? I believe that in a few days, he will join us.
“So, there is no problem. It would be resolved amicably. The senate is a family.”

EXPOSED: Anal s3x, where northerners make cool money — Expert

Dr Zainab Suleiman, a prominent health expert, has raised concerns about the risks associated with anal sex, particularly in Northern Nigeria.
In a recent Facebook post, she likened the prevalence of teenage pregnancy in the region to a “new refinery”, suggesting a growing issue that needs attention.
Dr Suleiman exhaustively highlighted the health implications of anal sex, including hemorrhoids and loss of anal sphincter control, in a post on Tuesday.
Anal sex has become a lucrative practice in some northern states. This practice is widespread and has become normalized. Others request others to join on a daily basis. They even have groups they belong to, where they make recommendations to men interested in having sex with a female through the anus for financial gain.
Some men accustomed to anal sex, including those who practice homosexuality, find it easy to engage in anal sex with women for money. Such men sponsor the female’s lifestyle, spoil them with money, take them on holidays to countries of their choice, and provide them with luxury.
Having sex through the vagina may soon become old-fashioned in the north, as most women now prefer anal sex. A girl can now marry a man she’s fully aware is gay because the anus is involved, and they know each other’s secrets.
About five married couples shared with me that their husbands love anal sex more than anything. I thought Islam prohibited this, so why is it becoming so common?
The rate of homosexuality and lesbianism in the north is alarming, especially homosexuality. Many men and women’s anuses are punctured due to this practice.
Some ladies, due to preserving their virginity, choose anal sex to keep their virginity for their husbands but allow their boyfriends to engage in anal sex with them or use their anus for prostitution.
The almajiri system, where innocent children are allowed to roam the streets, has contributed to the problem, with some children being forced into anal sex for money.
My personal experience with the prison was eye-opening. Many people we treated for hemorrhoids were involved in anal sex. The experience was shocking, with men selling their anuses to fellow men inside the prison.
The rate of pornography groups created on WhatsApp and social media in the north is high. No tribe in Nigeria has shared more pornography links than the Arewa people.
The Dan Dawudu’s
Today in the north, we have more individuals engaging in unconventional behaviors. Children and young people see these individuals as role models, and it’s becoming normalized. Many are being discovered daily. As a medical doctor, I’m aware of intersex conditions, where children are born with ambiguous genitalia. I’m also aware of bisexuality and identity crises stemming from psychological issues. However, in some parts of the north, young people are adopting certain identities, using anal sex as a means to achieve financial gain or status.
Because in the north they patronize them for such , its a well known thing !
For some men in the north, being with a woman who engages in anal sex makes her more attractive most especially those married to gays .
But i can attributes , this act is common with those who are into Drugs and substances abuse .
NO AREWA MAN OR WOMAN WHO UNDERSTANDS RELIGION AND CULTURE DOES THAT :
One of my relationships ended because my partner wanted anal sex. I’ve shared this experience with a few people on this platform. The relationship was with someone I deeply loved, and it ended just days before our wedding. He revealed he was gay.
I returned to Nigeria in 2019 and settled in Abuja. The number of men and women involved in the anal sex industry is staggering. I’ve met girls from the north who travel to other states for this purpose.
What can you expect when people prioritize material wealth over morals and values? When spirituality is compromised, and people lead double lives? It’s no surprise I see many individuals involved in this lifestyle .
If not for religious reasons, many would be surprised to know how prevalent homosexuality and lesbianism are. Many men and women engage in these practices.
The fear is that in the next ten years, our marriages will become institutions of bisexuality. Both men and women are practicing anal sex, some as a source of income and others for fun.
As a parent, it’s essential to inspect your child’s anus for signs of anal sex abuse such as pain, bleeding, itching, or swelling around the anus .
Some Hemorrhoids in the north can be attributed to anal sex. Doctors should research this further, as it’s also a leading cause of fecal incontinence due to a loose anal sphincter.
Mind you pile can be natural yes due to some factors
Such as
1. *Straining during bowel movements*:2. *Pregnancy*:3. *Aging*: Weakening of the veins and tissues.4. *Family history*: Genetic predisposition.5. *Lifestyle factors*: Sedentary lifestyle, poor diet, or obesity.Chronic diarrhea or constipation*: Prolonged straining or pressure on the veins.Heavy lifting or bending*: Increased pressure on the veins.Obesity*: Excess weight can put pressure on the veins.
My personal experience with a few patients gave me the answers I needed. Some patients eventually opened up about how their hemorrhoids started, which confirmed my suspicions. I was with a colleague who had to tell a patient to stop doing something that was causing the issue, and it would resolve.
How did you know Dr
Patient don’t worry “WE DEY STREET”
I sincerely appreciate those who opened up, especially the victims.
It’s our collective responsibility to address this issue affecting the region, promoting proper sanitation and health education.
If you practice Islam, educate your girl child that anal sex is not normal and is prohibited in the religion.
No lesser sin between front door or back door .
Understand the risks of colon cancer and other sexually transmitted diseases associated with anal sex.
What will happen to the future of marriage institutions in the north in 10 to 20 years, considering the increasing numbers of homosexuality, lesbianism, and anal sex as a money-making industry .
The prevalence of anal sex and related issues in some parts of northern Nigeria is a complex and concerning phenomenon. As a society, we need to address the underlying factors driving this trend, including poverty, lack of education, and social norms. Healthcare professionals, policymakers, and community leaders must work together to provide support, education, and resources to mitigate the physical and psychological harm associated with these practices. By doing so, we can promote healthier attitudes and behaviors, ultimately protecting the well-being of individuals and communities.
This issue isn’t limited to the north; it’s a global social concern. However, my focus is on the northern region. Unfortunately, many Nigerians, not just those from the north, are engaging in anal sex as a means of financial gain, effectively commodifying their ANUS!.

Remi Tinubu urges Ondo monarchs to help end HIV

The wife of the President, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has called on traditional rulers in Ondo State to help eradicate female genital mutilation, Hepatitis B, and other diseases affecting women in the state.
Mrs Tinubu also urged them to support her advocacy in tackling pressing health challenges affecting Nigerian women, including the elimination of mother-to-child transmission of HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis B, Syphilis, and Tuberculosis, among others.
She made the call during a meeting with members of the Ondo State Council of Obas in Akure, the state capital, as part of her visit to the state on Thursday.
Tinubu said, “Ending female genital mutilation is also one of our key priorities. It is a harmful and outdated tradition built on myths. It does not stop promiscuity, as some believe. Instead, it destroys the lives of young girls.”
The Nigerian First Lady, who also flagged off the South-West leg of the Renewed Hope Initiative as part of efforts to improve the well-being of women and girls across the country, announced plans to distribute no fewer than 10,000 professional kits — comprising Crocs and scrubs — to nurses and midwives in the South-West region.
She also introduced a new menstrual hygiene campaign, tagged Flow with Confidence, through which her office intends to supply 10,000 sanitary pads to young girls in each state, with a focus on rural areas.
In his remarks, the Chairman of the State Council of Obas and Olowo of Owo, Oba Gbadegesin Ogunoye, who was represented by the Deji of Akure, Oba Aladetoyinbo Aladelusi, commended Mrs Tinubu’s initiatives and pledged the support and prayers of the traditional institution.
The monarch said, “We may not be able to offer financial help, but our prayers will never cease for the success of President Tinubu’s administration.”
He also praised the First Lady’s loyalty and visible support for her husband, stating that “By the time Asiwaju completes his first term, Nigerians will beg him to go for another.”

Human trafficking allegation: Nigerian Community leadership in Ivory Coast calls for peace talk

In response to the recent controversy surrounding allegations of human trafficking involving Nigerian nationals in Ivory Coast, the Nigerian community leadership in the country has called for unity and collaboration between the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM) and activist VeryDarkMan, emphasizing that the priority should be the protection of vulnerable Nigerians, especially children.
The issue, which gained national attention following a viral video by social media activist VeryDarkMan, highlighted the plight of young Nigerian girls reportedly trafficked to Ivory Coast. The video, which mentioned NIDCOM and its Chairperson, Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa, sparked widespread debate and concern across the diaspora and in Nigeria.
In a statement issued by the President of the Nigerian Community in Ivory Coast, Mr. Onwuchelu Michael Emeka, the community clarified its position and distanced itself from any narrative suggesting disloyalty to the Nigerian government.
“Our meeting with VeryDarkMan was done in good faith, driven by our commitment to find lasting solutions to the human trafficking menace affecting our people,” Mr. Onwuchelu explained.
“We discussed issues affecting Nigerians in Ivory Coast and appreciated his zeal, but we were not aware that the fallout would cause such controversy. Our intention was never to create division or bring disrepute to any government institution.”
The community leader stressed that the goal is to foster collaboration—not confrontation.
“We believe both NIDCOM and activists like VeryDarkMan can work together in the interest of our children. We must build bridges, not walls. Advocacy and government efforts must align for meaningful impact.”
Mr. Onwuchelu Emeka further expressed appreciation for the continued support of the Nigerian Embassy in Ivory Coast and acknowledged the efforts of Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa, describing her as a consistent ally of Nigerians in the diaspora.
“We commend NIDCOM for its proactive role and Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa’s unwavering commitment to diaspora welfare. We also recognize the power of advocacy in exposing hidden issues. The focus now should be on protecting victims and preventing future occurrences.”
To promote stronger ties and dialogue, Mr. Emeka announced that the Nigerian community in Ivory Coast is planning a series of courtesy visits to key stakeholders in Nigeria, including the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, with the aim of aligning strategies for diaspora safety and engagement.
“We owe it to our people, especially the younger generation, to work in unity. The safety of Nigerians abroad should always be a shared responsibility.”
In a new development, VDM posted on his Instagram account that a sum of N20 million doatione has been transferred to NAPTIP.
He said: “On behalf of the RATEL MOVEMENT I donated the sum of 20million naira to NAPTIP through the (MVOI) to help bring back the trafficked children from Ivory Coast back to Nigeria and other victims of trafficking and to also help in their rehabilitation, furthermore, we urge all the security agencies to play their parts in protecting our children especially our girl child by securing the borders.
Meanwhile, Dr Allen Onyema promised that his airline would ensure the return of the girls back to Nigeria from the French-speaking West African country free of charge.

Fresh prophecy reveals who wins 2027 election as Tinubu warned

As dawn breaks over Nigeria, the anticipation surrounding the 2027 presidential race intensifies, drawing closer the pivotal moment when citizens will choose their next leader.
Amid this bustling political activity, intriguing prophecies have surfaced regarding the identity of Nigeria’s next president.
While numerous challenges and fierce rivalries lie ahead, it is believed that a singular, worthy candidate will ultimately rise victorious from this complex and competitive arena.
The General Overseer of the Wisdom Church of Christ International and International President of the Federation of League of Concerned Prophets of Nigeria, Prophet Bisi Olujobi, has stated that, despite opposition, President Bola Tinubu will win a second term.
Although he acknowledged that the upcoming contest would be challenging, he expressed confidence that the President would ultimately prevail. “He should be prepared for a battle. He will return. They will fight him harder than they did during the last election. They will seriously unite against him and allocate considerable resources to oppose him; they are ready for a confrontation, but they will fail,” Olujobi said.
He advised the President to exercise caution.
Reflecting on his experiences during the lead-up to the 2023 general election, he noted that many clerics opposed him for declaring that Tinubu would win. Olujobi revealed that God had informed him about Tinubu’s presidential future even when he was still governor of Lagos State. “When I shared this insight with some of my friends, they told me to keep quiet. Since then, I have continued to receive revelations about him. God is with Tinubu, and he will do well for this nation.”
Olujobi further emphasized that, although many believed it would be difficult for Tinubu to win the 2023 election, God consistently reassured him of Tinubu’s success. “He possesses wisdom and knowledge. He knows how to organize things and make them work. While persecution is inevitable, by the special grace of God, the Lord will ensure his victory.”
Olujobi recounted the persecution he faced for supporting Tinubu, stating, “I’m not a politician; I’m a prophet of God. However, some of my friends think he is rewarding me for my support. They resent me for it. Some even told me to my face that I played a role in his rise to the presidency. I stressed that it was not I but God who spoke. I remember a time when they nearly burned down this place. Some friends even revoked my speaking engagements because I supported Tinubu. I only shared what God revealed to me, and I will continue to do so. When God provides a revelation and you stand firm on it, His promises will surely come to pass.”
In response to concerns expressed by some about the President’s health, Olujobi reassured that there is no cause for alarm, stating, “God will uphold Mr. President.”

Olowu family reaffirms ownership of disputed land, calls for end to allegations against developer

The Olowu family, traditional landowners of a parcel of land located at Kilometer 13, Owode Onirin, Ikorodu area of Lagos, have reaffirmed their legal ownership of the property, citing a historical acquisition dating back to 1954.
According to the family, the land in question was purchased by their forefather for farming, Bello Olowu, who obtained a receipt of purchase from the then Oba Waheed Onikoro. The transaction was reportedly witnessed by three of Bello’s brothers, all of whom left thumbprints on the receipt as evidence of the transaction. The land was subsequently registered with the authorities at the old secretariat in Ikeja with registration number ML/121/79.
Over the years, the family claims the land had been abandoned and subsequently taken over by criminal elements who allegedly used the space for illegal activities such as car vandalism and the dismantling of stolen vehicles. The Olowu family says it was this situation that prompted them to reclaim the land for proper use.
Legal battles soon followed, with the family facing multiple court cases filed by local government authorities. Through their legal counsel, Chief (Otunba) Adedeji Adekoya. the Olowus won three separate High Court cases.
The land first became a subject of dispute in 1994 when some persons came under the guise of Somolu Local Government to claim possession of the land, the issue was taken to court with suit number ID/1757/94 at the Lagos state High court and by the verdict pronounced by Justice Holloway, it was affirmed that the land belongs to the Olowu family.
In 2010, the land became a subject of dispute again, this time they came under the guise of Kosofe Local Government and Justice Emeyo did not only affirm the Olowus as the real owners of the land, he also awarded some financial cost against the trespassers (even though they did not pay).
There was a third case however 2019, this time it was the family against the Agbajowo scraps dealers who had hitherto been the initiator of the previous cases but using the Local Government as cover, they are being led by one Gbenga Kalejaiye who coincidentally is the grandson of Oba Waheed Onikoro who sold the land to the Olowus in 1954. After the third defeat, these individuals proceeded to appeal the verdict but the Appeal Court struck out the case and deleted the case file after the appellants failed to appear in court on three occasions.
Unfortunately, these set of individuals had been able to connive with the Local Government and the Baale to continue trespassing on the land as they had gone ahead to erect structures on the land and even started selling to interested buyers.
Efforts to enforce the court judgment had proved challenging due to the influence of the characters involved. The family enlisted various land agents, including the Alado group and Taiwo Ologun, but found little success. The breakthrough came when they engaged the services of renowned real estate developer, Mr. Akeem Abiodun Ariori. Ariori secured the necessary legal documents, including approvals from the Office of Building Control and the Office of the Attorney-General of Lagos State, to re-establish the family’s claim to the land.
However, recent interference by the authorities of Agboyi Ketu Local Council Development Area (LCDA), under the leadership of Hon. Dele Oshinowo, has raised tensions. The LCDA, established in 2004—ten years after the court ruling in favor of the Olowus—has reportedly questioned the legitimacy of the family’s claim and Ariori’s involvement.
The Olowu family has expressed concerns over what they describe as attempts to obstruct Ariori’s development efforts, urging Hon. Oshinowo to refrain from public defamation and Public incitement against the verdict of the Law, he however urged to verify the legal facts surrounding the land.
They further challenge any individuals or government bodies with contrary claims to present their case in court, affirming that they possess all necessary legal documentation to defend their ownership.
In response to recent claims labelling Mr. Ariori as a “land grabber,” the family strongly refutes such allegations. Ariori, a respected developer and CEO of Prosperous Ariori Golden Ventures, is credited with several major real estate projects in Lagos, including the development of Monkey Village in Opebi and the P&T Estate in Ipaja, among others.
A recent publication by THISDAY Newspaper on April 2, 2025, reportedly confirms the court judgment in favor of the Olowu family.
In conclusion, the family has appealed to the Lagos State Government and the Executive Chairman of Agboyi Ketu LCDA to allow justice to prevail and to acknowledge the legal status of the land. They also extended appreciation to the Governor of Lagos State for his commitment to justice and the rule of law.

VeryDarkMan: ‘Why you should not fault Abike-Dabiri over rate of human trafficking.’

Following the human trafficking’ allegation labelled against Abike Dabiri-Erewa, the chairperson of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM), over the increasing number of Nigerians stranded in foreign countries, Advocate Against Human Trafficking & Child Exploitation and Cameroon based publisher, Ismaila Adegbola has opens up on why Social Media activists VeryDarkman needs to be fair with NIDCOM chairperson due to her unwavering commitment to curb human trafficking’ across the globe.
The argument has ignited a wave of debates online about who truly holds responsibility for ensuring the safety and return of Nigerians stuck abroad.
Abike Dabiri-Erewa has replied to controversial activist, VeryDarkMan.
Verydarkman had given her one week ultimatum to rescue children allegedly trafficked to Ivory Coast as “misinformed and ignorant”.
Adegbola urges VDM to be fair enough with the roles Abike has been playing in favour of Nigerians in diaspora and her commitment to eradicate human trafficking in many countries.
He said: “Let’s focus on solutions, not blame, it is responsibilities of everybody to come out in unity in the fight against human trafficking,” said Adegbola.
“It is truly disheartening to witness the recent confrontation between social media activist Verydarkman and Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa, Chairperson of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM), especially on an issue as sensitive and heartbreaking as human and child trafficking in Côte d’Ivoire.”
“Last year, I embarked on an investigative mission to Côte d’Ivoire to document the harsh realities faced by many of our children and young girls trapped in modern slavery. What I encountered was devastating, and I believe this issue demands more than outrage — it requires strategic action, unity, and compassion.
“While Verydarkman may be passionate about justice, I must strongly caution against the tone and words used towards Hon. Abike Dabiri. From my experience, she has shown consistent concern for the welfare of Nigerians abroad. I vividly remember her swift and emotional response when I notified her office about the crisis in Côte d’Ivoire. She was deeply saddened and encouraged me to engage NAPTIP for further intervention. Though my repeated visits to NAPTIP were fruitless — a matter that must be addressed within that agency — it would be unfair to place the blame solely on her.
“I must also commend the Nigerian community and the Nigerian embassy in Côte d’Ivoire for their resilience and efforts so far in tackling this issue. They have shown leadership, compassion, and commitment in the face of a difficult situation.
“Let us remember: this is not a fight for one person or agency alone. This is our collective responsibility. It is time to channel our energies into meaningful partnerships. We must raise awareness, empower vulnerable communities, and demand reform at all institutional levels.”

2027 BOMBSHELL: Tinubu not afraid of Buhari, ‘he made him president’
