(FULL LIST: Names Of Abducted Kebbi Schoolgirls Released

The Chairman of Danko-Wasagu Local Government Area in Kebbi State, Hussaini Aliyu, has refuted claims made by U.S. lawmaker Riley Moore regarding the recent abduction of schoolgirls from a supposed Christian community.
Aliyu labeled these allegations as false and misleading, emphasizing that such statements could create unnecessary religious tensions while security forces focus on the safe recovery of the abducted students.
In a clear statement, Aliyu confirmed that all the girls taken from Government Girls Secondary School in Maga are, in fact, Muslims.
He urged the American lawmaker to avoid making unverifiable assertions that could exacerbate religious or ethnic divisions within Nigeria.
Additionally, Aliyu pointed out that the Zuru Emirate, which includes the Maga community, has historically not experienced any religious crises or sectarian conflicts.
He stressed that framing the abduction in religious terms is not only inaccurate but also detrimental to Nigeria’s image.
To provide further clarity, the chairman has released the names of the abducted girls.
