‘BETRATAL! Kennedy family knocks Robert’s endorsement of Trump

The Kennedys have expressed disappointment over Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s decision to endorse Donald Trump, stating that it is a betrayal of the family’s values.

On Friday, Kennedy withdrew his independent campaign for the upcoming US presidential election.

He added that he was not terminating his presidential campaign as his name would remain on the ballot in many states.

“My name will remain on the ballot in most states. I encourage you to vote for me, and if enough of you do vote for me and neither of the major party candidates win 270 votes, which is quite possible today, our polling shows them tied at 269 to 269,” he said.

Trump, who is running for president for a third time, reacted to the endorsement by saying: “It’s an honor”.

Reacting to Kennedy’s endorsement of Trump, the family described their brother’s decision as a “sad ending”.

“We want an America filled with hope and bound together by a shared vision of a brighter future, a future defined by individual freedom, economic promise, and national pride. We believe in Harris and Walz,” the statement reads.

“Our brother Bobby’s decision to endorse Trump today is a betrayal of the values that our father and family hold most dear. It is a sad ending to a sad story.”

The statement was signed by Kathleen Kennedy Townsend, Courtney Kennedy, Kerry Kennedy, Chris Kennedy, and Rory Kennedy.

Kennedy’s father, Robert F. Kennedy, was the 64th US attorney-general. He is a nephew of John F. Kennedy, the 35th president of the US.
