Okoye signs new Udinese contract

Nigerian national team goalkeeper Maduka Okoye has signed a contract extension with Udinese, a Serie A club.

Okoye’s contract will now expire on June 30, 2028.

The new contract brings an end to speculations surrounding his future at the club.

The goalkeeper arrived Friuli from Sky Bet Championship club, Watford in 2023.

The 23-year-old earned a leading role during the past season, demonstrating a high standard of performance that made him one of the best-performing goalkeepers in the Italian top flight.

Okoye made 22 league appearances for the Zebras last season.
