Tension as new petrol price hit ₦780 in Southeast

Independent Petroleum Marketers operating filing stations in Abia State are dispensing their Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) to their customers between ₦750-₦780 per liter.

Correspondent who monitored sale of PMS by petrol dealers in Aba, the commercial nerve of the state and Umuahia, the state capital, reports that there were no queues in filing stations visited.

Some of the petrol station owners refused to grant interview to our reporter, but preferred speaking anonymously.

They said that dispense their products depending on source of their product and quality the product that they sell to their customers.

Transport companies have slightly increased their transport fares in like with their policy.
