NLC protesters besiege NASS

Protesters in thousands on Tuesday stormed the National Assembly Complex, Abuja, protesting among others, the current hardship in the land owing to the removal of fuel subsidy.

Drawn from different Ministries Departments, and Agencies, they sang excitedly “Akpabio, come to our aid,” Solidarity Forever,” among others.

They came in buses and motorcycles, bearing placards which read “Please, pay our wage awars of four months,” “Stop the injustice in Public Complaints Commission,” and more.

As at the time of filing this report, the protesters were yet to be addressed by any lawmaker from both chambers of the parliament.
