Tinubu’s 2027 Re-Election a Walkover — APC Chieftain

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Federal Commissioner of the Public Complaints Commission (PCC) in Ekiti State, Prince Akintade Olayisade, has described the 2027 re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as a walkover, citing the President’s performance in office and his inclusive political leadership.

In a statement made available to journalists, Olayisade said President Tinubu’s governance style, reform-driven policies, and commitment to national development have continued to earn widespread acceptance across political divides, thereby strengthening the ruling party ahead of the next general elections.

According to him, the President’s achievements since assuming office, particularly in economic reforms, institutional strengthening, and national cohesion, have reinforced public confidence in the APC-led administration.

He noted that these accomplishments have translated into growing political support, including the defection of several opposition governors and key political actors to the ruling party.

“The increasing movement of opposition leaders into the APC is not accidental,” Olayisade stated. “It is a clear affirmation of President Tinubu’s leadership capacity, political maturity, and his ability to build consensus across party lines in the national interest.”

He added that the President’s experience in governance and politics has enabled him to navigate complex national challenges with strategic clarity, positioning Nigeria on a path of stability and long-term growth.

Olayisade maintained that the administration’s policies have laid a solid foundation for sustainable development, which continues to resonate with political stakeholders nationwide.

The APC chieftain further stressed that the wave of defections to the ruling party reflects a broader realignment in Nigeria’s political landscape, driven by confidence in the President’s vision and the APC’s capacity to deliver effective governance.

Olayisade urged Nigerians to sustain their support for the Tinubu administration, noting that continuity would allow the government to consolidate ongoing reforms and deepen the gains already recorded.

He expressed confidence that, based on current political realities and performance indicators, the APC would approach the 2027 elections from a position of strength.

He reaffirmed the commitment of APC leaders and members to mobilising support for the President’s re-election, describing it as essential to consolidating national progress and strengthening democratic governance.
