Dennis Idahosa wins Edo APC gov primary election

Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodinma, from 4:40 p.m., at Protea Hotel, Government Reservation Area (GRA), Benin, Edo State, declared the representative of Ovia constituency in the House of Representatives, Dennis Idahosa, the winner of today’s Edo All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship direct primary election.

Idahosa was declared winner with 40,453 votes, while the representative of Edo Central Senatorial District, Senator Monday Okpebholo, who was earlier coasting to victory, got 100 votes, which was affirmed by the leader of the elected delegates, Mr. Charity Amayaenvbo.
