Gunmen Abduct Tinubu Campaign Youth Leader

Ambassador Bashir Isa Gusau, the North-West Youth Leader of the Tinubu/Shettima campaign organization, has been abducted by gunmen suspected to be bandits in Zamfara State.
The incident was reported by security analyst Bakatsine on social media platform X.
According to the report, a group of over 30 armed individuals stormed Gusau’s residence in Gusau town and took him away during the assault, which occurred in front of his wife, causing significant distress to the family.
Bakatsine noted that security agencies were promptly notified of the incident; however, efforts to locate the abducted ambassador have thus far been unsuccessful.
In light of this event, the analyst raised concerns about the ongoing prevalence of violent attacks in the region, questioning the duration for which residents of Zamfara will have to endure the threat posed by banditry.
“Gunmen suspected to be bandits abduct Ambassador Bashir Isa Gusau, North-West Youth Leader of Tinubu/Shettima, Zamfara Chapter. Over 30 armed men stormed his home in Gusau and abducted him before his wife. Security agencies alerted, but no trace yet.
“How long will these bandit attacks continue?,” he wrote.
As of the time of filing this report, there has been no official response from security authorities regarding the incident.
