Yilwatda boldly asserted that, at present, he perceives no other party in Nigeria as formidable enough to challenge President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 presidential race.

In his commitment to advancing the party’s interests, Yilwatda stressed the importance of consultation across various party organs. He indicated that he would engage with party members and stakeholders to gather diverse perspectives, ultimately leading to tough decisions that are made in the collective interest of the APC.
