Tosin undergoing Chelsea medical ahead of free transfer move

Tosin is undergoing his Chelsea medical today ahead of his move from Fulham on a free transfer.

The defender’s contract with the Cottagers expires this summer, and he is now set to reunite with new Blues boss Enzo Maresca after the pair worked together at Manchester City.

Chelsea have offered the 26-year-old a long-term contract because he has Premier League experience, an excellent availability and injury record and, at 6ft 5in, he is very good at set-pieces.

Newcastle also wanted to sign the Englishman but he couldn’t turn down Chelsea, with the player excited to move to Stamford Bridge.
