BREAKING: Tension as Peter Obi Leads Protesters to National Assembly, Details Emerge

Peter Obi, a prominent candidate for the 2027 presidential elections, has organized a protest at the National Assembly.

He is accompanied by numerous supporters, including notable activist Aisha Yesufu.

The group has gathered at the entrance of the parliamentary building to advocate for the approval of real-time electronic transmission of results from polling units, as outlined in the Electoral Amendment Bill currently under review.

In response to the protest, security forces, primarily consisting of police and members of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps, have positioned their vehicles around the area and stationed personnel at strategic locations to maintain order.
