Breaking: Tension as Osimhen Set to be Suspended From Super Eagles

Galatasaray of Turkey striker, Victor James Osimhen has surprisingly entered the summer transfer radar of German Bundesliga giants, Bayern Munich and his club appear ready to sell him at the end of this season.

According to Sports247, Osimhen’s agents have already been sounded out about the possibility of lining the in-form striker up for a deal with The Bavarians, but a huge stumbling block is the presence of Harry Kane.

With the England captain equally on fire since arriving from Tottenham Hotspur two seasons ago, the chances of Osimhen upstaging him as Bayern’s first choice top striker are very slim.

However, as Osimhen’s current contract with Gala is meant to extend until the summer of 2029, the Istanbul-based Turkish Super Lig outfit could be tempted into reaching an agreement that could fetch them a lot of money.

Details of the development are contained in a report by German publication, BILD, which confirmed that Osimhen has been offered to Bayern and Galatasaray will consider selling him at a profit.

The report adds: “Osimhen is open to a move to Bayern Munich, but in a possible transfer he would be second choice behind Harry Kane.

“Bayern Munich’s position is that it is only relevant to bring in Osimhen if Kane leaves, and it is unlikely to happen until the summer of 2027 at the earliest.

“Bayern Munich also have Nicolas Jackson on loan from Chelsea for the rest of the season as a reserve. There is an option to buy, but it is unlikely to be exercised.”
