Afrobeats artist Innocent Idibia, commonly known as 2Baba, and his wife, Natasha Osawaru, were recently involved in a noteworthy incident during an Instagram Live session hosted by media personality Daddy Freeze.

The session included former management associates of 2Baba, Kaka Igbokwe and Lori Tosan, who alleged that Natasha was excessively influencing his personal and professional decisions.

The former associates also made claims about 2Baba’s behavior, suggesting that he exhibited violent tendencies and referring to past incidents involving the couple, including an alleged domestic disturbance that occurred in the United Kingdom.

As these allegations were discussed, 2Baba unexpectedly joined the livestream and instructed the former managers to cease their commentary about his private life. The session ended abruptly after raised voices, reportedly from 2Baba and Natasha, were heard in the background.

The development has heightened public scrutiny of the couple’s relationship, which became public after 2Baba announced his separation from actress Annie Idibia in January.

He proposed to Osawaru in February, and the pair tied the knot in July.

The latest controversy follows earlier claims that the singer was briefly taken into police custody in the UK after an alleged altercation with Natasha during his tour in October.

Although 2Baba dismissed that account, insisting he missed a show due to a medical emergency, the claims resurfaced after the live session.
