VIDEO: How Father Mbaka heals 4-year-old boy who was paralysed from birth

Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka, a Catholic priest and spiritual director of the Adoration Ministry in Enugu, commands a significant following not only in the Southeast region but also nationwide.
Known for his outspoken criticism of government policies and political figures, he possesses a spiritual authority that enhances his public discourse.

Recently, Fr. Mbaka shared a moving testimony concerning a young boy who has lived with paralysis since birth. While addressing his congregation, he recounted the case of the child, who is the son of his senior sister’s family.
The child was born with a neurological disorder that rendered his spinal system incapable of supporting his legs. According to medical evaluations, this condition indicated that the boy would never walk.
“The testimony we have is that the senior sister, the sister who married out, has a son with dad. This small boy here from birth has been lame,” Mbaka said, pointing to the family members present. “He has a neurologic disorder and the spinal system medically will not be able to carry his legs.”
For verification, Mbaka introduced the child’s father, who is both husband to his senior sister and father of the boy. He explained that the boy had been a long-term patient at Parkland Hospital, where doctors had declared the case beyond medical correction.
“Look at the father here to the son and husband of father’s sister for verification purposes. This small boy is a patient at Parkland Hospital. The fathers are there,” he explained.
He further noted that the boy’s grandmother—his own mother—had previously shared with him the struggles the family faced in caring for the child, who could neither walk nor stand on his own. “The grandma of the son, which is father’s mother, told me last time of all that God has done for her—that this child that is paralyzed, not walking, using father’s language, total deformity,” Mbaka said.
While contrasting the condition of the young boy with that of his elder sister, who was described as strong and healthy, Mbaka expressed that the situation had baffled the family. “The sister, the senior, is agile. But this one, nobody knew what happened,” he remarked.
According to Mbaka, the testimony was not to highlight the severity of the child’s condition but to glorify God for sustaining his life despite grim medical reports. He reminded the congregation that what appears impossible with man remains possible with God.
“This child was given no chance, but God has preserved him. It is a sign that the Lord has the final say in every situation,” he declared.
The testimony resonated with worshippers at the Adoration Ministry, who responded with praise and thanksgiving. Many described it as a message of encouragement for families grappling with seemingly hopeless medical conditions.
One member of the congregation noted, “Father Mbaka is reminding us that even when doctors say no, God can say yes. This testimony gives us hope.”
Mbaka concluded by urging believers never to lose faith in God’s healing power, assuring them that the Lord who sustains life can also perform miracles beyond human understanding.
