No More N230/SCM: FG Inreases CNG By N150 In Lagos, Abuja As Uniform Pricing Takes Effect Nationwide

The Federal Government has fixed the retail price of compressed natural gas (CNG) in Lagos and Abuja, bringing the two cities in line with the uniform rate already applied nationwide.

The new pricing in Lagos and Abuja took effect on September 1, 2025, but had already been implemented in other parts of the country two months earlier.

Government sources confirmed the development to Nairametrics, noting it was part of efforts to harmonize CNG costs across different regions.click link for details
