Keystone Bank gives Akwa Ibom school facelift

Keystone Bank Limited has officially inaugurated a fully renovated and equipped block of classrooms at Community Comprehensive Secondary School, Four Towns, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, as part of its Educational Support Initiative.
A statement released on Sunday indicated that the commissioning ceremony, held on the school premises, brought together government officials, executives from Keystone Bank, community leaders, educators, and students to celebrate the successful completion of the project.
During the event, Dr. Eucharia Ken-Agbiriogu, the Directorate Head of South at Keystone Bank, reiterated the institution’s commitment to education as a fundamental component of national development.
“At Keystone Bank, we believe that investing in education serves as one of the most effective means of contributing to the advancement of our nation. This renovated school block exemplifies what can be accomplished when the private and public sectors collaborate toward a common objective. By providing a more conducive learning environment, we aspire to foster a culture of creativity, innovation, and excellence among our students,” she remarked.
In his address, Dr. Ekaette Okon, the Chairman of the Akwa Ibom State Secondary Education Board, praised Keystone Bank for its intervention and partnership with the state in promoting educational advancement.
He noted that such collaborations significantly augment the government’s efforts to provide quality education and improve learning environments for students throughout the state.
The Principal of Community Comprehensive Secondary School, Four Towns, Ime Ekpo, expressed profound gratitude to Keystone Bank for what he termed a timely and transformative intervention.
“Upon my arrival at this school, the blocks earmarked for renovation were the most deteriorated structures on our premises. Today, thanks to the generosity of Keystone Bank through its corporate social responsibility program, this issue has been resolved. On behalf of the entire school community, I extend our heartfelt appreciation. We wish for continued prosperity for Keystone Bank and encourage other corporate entities and socially responsible individuals to emulate this commendable initiative,” he stated.
