President Bola Tinubu will personally receive the remains of former President Muhammadu Buhari when they arrive from London today.
Mohammed Idris, minister of information and national orientation, announced the arrangement during a press briefing in Abuja on Monday.

The minister added that after the reception in Katsina, the body would be transported to Daura, Buhari’s hometown, for the funeral prayer and interment at the late president’s residence.

Shehu told journalists that the graveyard was being dug at Buhari’s residence.
According to him, “The body left London by 7:48 am and it is expected after 7 hours. The graveyard is being dug.”
