Chelsea make final decision on Osimhen-Lukaku swap deal

For a hot minute, it looked like Chelsea just might pull of a major signing at striker on Transfer Deadline Day, but after waiting around

According to a report by Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea considers Victor Osimhen and Romelu Lukaku as separate transfer deals. Additionally, the report mentions that the Napoli forward is not inclined to leave the Stadio Maradona on loan.

Chelsea doesn’t want to trade their striker Lukaku for Osimhen, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.

The Blues don’t see Lukaku as part of their plans, but they’re not keen on loaning him. According to Sky Sport Italia, Napoli proposed €30m, with add-ons, but Chelsea is holding out for €43m.

According to Romano, Napoli has confirmed that they have already scheduled personal talks with Lukaku, while negotiations with Chelsea are still in progress.

Enzo Maresca’s team has restarted negotiations to acquire Osimhen, notifying Napoli that they are considering pursuing a loan deal for the player in the upcoming days.

The Nigerian international expressed his desire to depart from Stadio Maradona, outlining a firm stance against a temporary transfer or a reduction in his current remuneration.
