Oladips accuses Wizkid of intellectual property theft

Rapper Oladips has called out Grammy-winning singer Wizkid for allegedly stealing his lyrics without permission.

Oladips claimed Wizkid sampled parts of his song “Ajala Travel remix” in his recent collaboration with Asake, “MMS”.

He shared screenshots of the similar lyrics on Instagram, sparking a debate among fans.

While some argued that sampling is a common practice in music, Oladips emphasised that it’s only acceptable when done with proper acknowledgement and authorization.

“It’s normal if you acknowledge the source! No be say dem go dey pretend like say dem no know you but come dey bite your lyrics for corner,” he wrote
