Naija News understands that the protest, which started peacefully across the country, eventually turned violent in some states, leading to the loss of lives and properties.

A senior immigration officer who confided in the platform, while speaking on the directive, noted that Sowore is among those on the watchlist.

The immigration boss said they would be arrested if they stepped on Nigerian soil. “Any attempt they make to come into the country, we will be notified, and they will be picked up and handed to appropriate authority.”
