At least four people have reportedly been killed, while several others sustained injuries during the ongoing protest in Suleja, Niger State.

Police operatives have thrown teargas cannisters at protesters at the Federal Secretariat in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

The protesters had gathered in the area against the counsel of the police who asked that the processions be held around the M.K.O Abiola Stadium in the nation’s capital.

Passers-by scampered for safety as the police released the teargas cannisters to disperse the protesters , who were insisting on carrying out the protests in the area.
