Protest: ‘Don’t allow political cabals destroy Tinubu’s government’

The Nigeria-owned-Cameroon-based international publication, Naija Diaspora Magazine publisher, Ismaila Adegbola has advise the organizers of planned protest not to allow political cabals to use them achieve anarchy in Nigeria.

Adegbola speak during the National Diaspora Day (NDD) 2024, hosted by the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM) in Abuja.

The Cameroon-based Nigerian businessman stressed that violence protest should never be allowed in the country, instead voice a way to dialogue with government and support the Tinubu’s government which many believed would yield major profit for the country sooner or later.

“It is very unfortunate that Nigerians are hungry and they are angry but i don’t think and I don’t agree violence will change things in Nigeria. I want to appeal to every Nigerians and the organizers of the planned protest to find a formular to dialogue with the government and never allow some political cabals to achieve aims of putting Nigeria in anarchy,” he said.

Speaking further, he said: “I was at the National Diaspora Day in Abuja, it was a wonderful event organised by NiDCOM led by Dr. Abike Dabiri. I was touched by First Lady’s remark, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, she spoke like a mother who feels the impact of others, let me quote her, she said: “Try to meet the right people that will help you, it’ about getting the right people to help you, Oluremi said. Of course, there is nothing wrong in protest but we should never allowed it to be determined by cabals.”
“In peace and harmony, Nigeria will be great, protest will not change anything positively, it will only cause setback, Nigerians should support the government. We, in diaspora are also praying for our country to be good so that anytime we visit home, we can always be proud of our home,” Adegbola said.
