Train rams into Hilux pickup in Lagos

A train yesterday rammed into a Toyota Hilux pickup at level crossing at Ilupeju Bypass in Mushin, Lagos.

The accident occurred around 4:30p.m. The Lagos State Transport Management Agency (LASTMA) and the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) were at the scene.

Senior Special Assistant on Media to the governor, Ajetunmobi Ridwan Olawale, tweeted: “Train accident reported in Mushin: A speeding train just rammed into a Toyota Hilux pickup at level crossing at Ilupeju Bypass, Mushin. “The incident happened at 4:30pm. No fatality recorded at this time.”
