Group gives Tinubu 17 point solutions to Nigeria’s problems

The Directorate of the Concerned Patriots in Nigeria and Overseas, as part of its keen interest to see Nigeria return to the path of peace, and economic boom has listed 17 point solutions that can help President Bola Tinubu navigate the country through troubled waters.

The group under the leadership of Prophet Moses Akinwale Olagunju , the Presiding Bishop Divine Seed of God Chapel Ministry, Ibadan, the Oyo State capital as part of its recommendations called on the federal government to restructure the country in a manner that will make each state a country within a United States of Nigeria.

Prophet  Olagunju said:  “There is no doubt that our beloved country, Nigeria requires serious attention in many areas but I believe the following should be accorded serious priority attention now: 1.Fix Nigeria’s power problem and reduce the tariff. 2. Reduce the pump price of fuel 3. Embark on agricultural mechanization and food security. 4. Look into the plight of the cattle rearers and embark on animal husbandry. 5. Ensure security of lives and property.6. Bring inflation down 7. Enhance the purchasing power of the naira 8. Build a united Nigeria 9. Remove immunity, enact laws that will curb corruption and deal with the perpetrators. 10. Creates job opportunities for the youth 11. Restore law and order 12. Reverse all privatization 13. Reduce duties paid on imports, as high duties diverts imports (Revenues) to neighboring countries.

“ 14. Reduces vehicle particular/license fees 15. Look into the plight of the army, reform the military and the police 16. Free and qualitative education at all levels.  17. Total restructuring of the country based on sovereign country, sovereign states United without any form of division under a new name called United States of Nigeria (USN), this is the type of restructuring we are talking about, not regional restructuring. For we need to redesign our sovereignty to fit our targeted purpose, needs of our people which will enhance development, innovation, peace and unity without any form of division while maintaining that ONENESS.

The prophet, however, said “our own restructuring should sink into the minds of everybody that it is not the same thing as disintegration/breakup. Restructuring simply means re-adjusting some operational principles that hold the nation bound to failure and perpetual decline in all facets of development. Your Excellency Sir, with due respect, you must not fight regional corruption. National corruption to the core because in our nation today, corruption is at all level.”
