CHIVIDO24: I’d have been part of Davido’s groomsmen but for Zlatan – Portable

Controversial singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has made a startling revelation about his relationship with colleague Davido.

In a recent Instagram live session, Portable claimed that he received an invitation to Davido’s wedding but would have played a more significant role as a groomsman if not for the interference of rapper Zlatan Ibile.

Portable said: “I was invited to Davido’s wedding. If Zlatan Ibile hadn’t ruined my friendship with Davido, I’d have been among the groomsmen.”

The drama between Portable and Davido began after their dinner meeting in the United States, where Portable accused Davido of giving him “bad advice” on his music career.

Portable alleged that Davido advised him to sign with Empire instead of Sony Music, which led to a rift between the two artists.

The situation escalated when Davido unfollowed Portable on Instagram, effectively ending their friendship.

Portable’s outburst against Davido continued, with him claiming that the DMW boss used him for publicity and abandoned him afterward.

Portable, against all odds, congratulated Davido and Chioma on their wedding day, seemingly putting their feud aside for the moment.
