Singer Flavour loses dad

Pa Benjamin Onyemaechi Okoli, the father of Nigerian highlife singer Chinedu Okoli, better known as Flavour N’abania has died.
The ‘Ijele’ crooner announced the sad news via his X o handle.

Elder Okoli passed away on Wednesday, May 22, 2023.

Mourning his dad, Flavour wrote in Igbo: “My father, Ijele’s (his nickname) father, rest well. God gave and God has taken.”

Condolence messages have been pouring in from fans and colleagues of the singer via the comment section.

The family is yet to announce the funeral plans for the deceased.
