NCC empowers Nigerian Youth Corpers with data management strategies

In a bid to equip Nigerian Youth Corpers with essential knowledge on managing their data usage effectively, the National Communication Commission (NCC) conducted a comprehensive sensitization program on data conservation strategies.
Held today, May 3rd, in Keffi, Nasarrawa State, the event aimed to address the rampant issue of data depletion among youth serving their nation through the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program.
With the proliferation of smartphones and increased reliance on digital communication, the NCC emphasized the importance of adopting prudent data management practices to prevent unexpected data exhaustion.
During the sensitization program, representatives from the NCC provided Corpers with practical tips and techniques to avoid excessive data consumption. From optimizing app settings to utilizing Wi-Fi networks whenever possible, attendees learned various strategies to stretch their data allocation further.
Additionally, the session delved into the significance of understanding data plans, monitoring usage patterns, and identifying data-hungry applications to ensure efficient data usage throughout their service year.
Through such initiatives, the NCC seeks to empower Youth Corpers with the knowledge and tools necessary to navigate the digital landscape responsibly while maximizing the benefits of connectivity during their service tenure.
