The families of Ogunbayo and Ogundimu have announced the burial events for their beloved mother, wife, grandmother, great grandmother and mother-in-law, late Mrs. Emilt Olusanjo Aduke Ogunbayo (Nee Ogundimu, a.k.a Iya Elewa).

A statement from Chief Segun Ogunbayo, read, “The Ogunbayo and Ogundimu families have announced a burial schedule for my late mother, who has left a legacy of love and kindness and liveliness. Wake Keep Service at Ogunbayo’s compound, Iyetedo by MAPOLY road, G.R. Ojere Abeokuta, Ogun State, on Thursday 18th April 2024, at 5:pm.

Chief Segun Ogunbayo who is also the Chairman of Celestial Church of Christ, Seed of Mustard Cathedral (Oko-Oba III) further explained that the burial service will take place at St. Paul Anglican Church, Sodubi, Onikolobo, Abeokuta on Friday 19th April, 2024, at 11:am, while entertainment of guests follows immediately at Abeokuta Girls Grammar School (AGGS), Onikolobo, Abeokuta.

The guest entertainer is popular musician Wole Papa.

“Kindly join us as we share the best and last moments with our mother who had lived for 108 years on earth.”
