Gov Diri present at Bayelsa Election Petitions Tribunal

Bayelsa State Governor, Senator Douye Diri has arrived the State Governorship Election Petitions Tribunal sitting in Abuja to witness proceedings.

The Governor and his entourage arrived the court room around 10:15 am with a retinue of security operatives and well wishers.

He was upon his arrival into the courtroom introduced by his lead counsel, Chris Uche SAN.

At the moment, Diri is witnessing the objections by his lawyer and others against the new application by the All Progressives Congress, APC, and its governorship candidate, Timipre Sylva, asking the Tribunal members to recuse themselves from further hearing of their Petition against the governor.
