FA Cup: Enzo scores wonderful goal as Chelsea beat Aston Villa 1-3

Chelsea beat Aston Villa 1-3 to reach FA Cup round of 16 where they will play Leeds United.

Chelsea star Enzo Fernandez imitated an iconic Lionel Messi celebration after scoring a perfect free kick against Aston Villa to put his side 3-1.

Fernandez only required a two step run-up to beat compatriot Emiliano Martinez from long range. After the ball hit the back of the net, the midfielder whipped off his shirt and held it up to the crowd, just as Messi did after scoring for Barcelona against Real Madrid in El Clasico back in 2017.

But the execution was not as cold as when La Pulga did it – largely because Fernandez was soon mobbed by his fellow Blues. Team-mate Nicolas Jackson even started kissing his No.8 jersey in ecstacy.
