Suspension: Betta Edu has not spoken, it was fake account – Minister’s ally

A closer source to the suspended humanitarian affairs and poverty alleviation minister Betta Edu says her principal has not spoken since the suspension took place and the public should desist from fake account on her name.

One of the Nigeria media outlet quoted the minister through her Facebook account. Quoting that her hands are clean, and she is committed to fighting corruption amid uproar on her illegal request to wire funds into a private account.

“Minister has not said anything since the suspension, kindly disregard the fake news,” the source told THE PAPERS.
