Kylian Mbappe returns to PSG’s first-team training

Kylian Mbappe has been handed a lifeline at PSG after Luis Enrique has brought the World Cup winner back into first-team training.
PSG announced Mbappe’s return in a statement on Sunday morning, which read: “Following very constructive and positive discussions between Paris Saint-Germain and Kylian Mbappe before the PSG – Lorient game, the player has been reinstated into the first team training squad this morning.”
The French superstar had been sanctioned by PSG for not wishing to activate an optional third year in his contract after he made clear his desire to pursue a move as a free agent at the end of the season, to namely Real Madrid – who PSG believe have already reached a pre-contract agreement with Mbappe to sign as a free agent next summer.

But after he was seen watching from the stands during PSG’s goalless opening day draw against Lorient on Saturday, Mbappe will return to training.
Tensions have been high between Mbappe and PSG chiefs after he snubbed a world-record £259million move to Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal – a deal which would’ve seen him pocket £1.64million per day.
